A Warm Welcome From The Masons Arms
Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. We have been running the Masons Arms at Lower Odcombe since February 2005 when we rescued the village from a fate worse than death... the loss of their pub!
After a short closure to make the kitchens legal, replace the boiler, fix the wiring... etc etc we reopened on April 1st with so much support from the village that we ran out of beer! Their drinking and eating capacity has been unabated ever since and the pub has established itself as the heart of the village with New Years Eve parties, Quiz nights and Open Mic nights showcasing local talent all proving to be a great success.
Over the years we have lovingly developed the business and we are still making plans for further additions!
As well as brewing Ale in our microbrewery Drew often also makes other creations such as Rhubarb Gin, Summer Fruits Vodka and Winter Berry Brandy as well as Elderflower cordial. Often using fruit grown in our own garden.
We are dog friendly and welcome your pet in all public areas so they can join you for a drink or a meal. There are treats on the bar, water by the back door and an enclosed exercise area to let them run off lead. For the comfort of other dogs and guests we ask they are on lead at all other times.
